I have not yet found a car which did not have this function if it had remote central locking system installed. If you held the unlock car door key it unlocked the doors and rolled down the windows. Some have it you have to double or tiple press the button etc.

Does Hyundai / i30 not have this ?

Well now you have :P

I've never had this 'feature' as standard - I had to have it added to my XJ6 as an aftermarket job.

I've never seen a car with auto down windows off the remote, that would be rather annoying I would have thought :undecided: sounds more like a custom modification I think.

A double press on some car remote keys will unlock the passenger door, a third press will sound the alarm.

It have been standard on European cars for years. Even my son's 1998 VW Golf 4 have it...

So let me get this right, if it's blowing a hurricane and raining cats n dogs you want the doors to unlock and the winders to roll down.

Wow, no thanks, I will stick with what I have,  but thanks anyway  :crazy1: :crazy1: :crazy1: :crazy1: :crazy1:

I find the feature quite useful and would like it on my i30.

On VW you lock the doors with the remote, then pres again to roll down the windows. When doing this the alarm and immobiliser is still on and off course you can't just reach inside the car and open a door. If equipped with motion sensors in the cabin these will also be disengaged.

This is nice when parking in the sun...

I think Mr Wildviktor have made a typo when he say it UNlock and roll down....

People seem to think it rols down your windows on unlock but no most have it you have to hold the unlock key for few seconds than it unlocks it and opens windows great to have in summer.

Overall grear feature. Seems Kia and Hyundai are only ones.

Not a common feature in Australian delivered vehicles for some reason.  Headlight height adjustment via a nob/button on the dash is also often excluded over here...

We certainly know what Summer is in Australia.
But I honestly don't see any real benefit in that option.
