As per the title, is 4000rpm normal for the 1.4 2011 at 80mph / 130kmph?
  • 2011 FD 5 Door Hatch, Petrol 1.4, Manual

I would think so, mine sits on just over 3000rpm at a 110kph in 6th gear.

This only has 5 gears, does feel like it needs a sixth, but if it's normal then cool :)

Assuming in Top Gear, it has to be, the gearing determines that.  :whistler:

I think it is OK if you have a petrol. It have short gears
