Hello fellas!! its been a while now! sorry i have been afK to busy with house

SOrry I havent been much active but I am here now and then,

updating news on my status on my cars etc

So I found out just this week that my car has almost been TOTALED!   it had damage worth of 260,000 nok which equals to around 43,000 $ dollars =/ , all the panels on the car EXCEPT the roof and rear fenders have been changed lol , its insane, so this was never said to be when i bought the car and in Norway this is a fault that should have been told to me, cus they would have known this,

Also found out that the " flywheels "is almost worn out , so that needs replacing its around 5000$ to change =/  its also something they told me was OK but again it was not, so I have 2 options now.

1 get my old car back and forget this audi shit =/

2. Make thempay for all the repairs, pain , flyhweel etc , and keep the car

I have not made my mind up yet, but because of this great community i might get my old car back as they still have it =). and I also miss my i30.

If they fix all the stuff I have made a list of to them I will keep the car, but I find it unlikely as i payed A LOT More for the car thati its worth .

I will keep u guys posted ! take care

and happy after easter =D

Luck should have nothing to do with it.
Not a good purchase, very unfortunate  :)
Never mind - onward & upward  :D

Hi Glac,

Sorry to hear your news, if I remember, one of the reasons for selling your I30 was the road to your house. I remember you saying that the i30 would get damaged if you kept it. Is the road still the same or has it been improved.

We'd love to see you back with an i30, but whatever is best for you of course.

Good luck with your negotiations.  :hatoff:

HI Phil

Yeah the main reason for the Audi was the 4x4 system, and yes the road has been improved but its not 100% yet =/

I cant see my i30 manage the hill in winter time, thats why I got the audi cus i have had no problems except that one time to drive up in snow/ice and so on it has been amazing,

As you can see here how the road is its not that bad now it used to be worse, but when this is icy and snowy, no FF car can get up there xD haha

That's a fairly steep driveway, but beautiful scenery. :undecided:

Do you have some come back under consumer law?

If so, use it and aldo, claim for compensation for the inconvenience etc
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

yeah mate basic all " dealers " are obligated to tell the person that buys the car EVERYTHING about it and hte history of the car,
even though they didt not know it has been damaged, it still makes the responsible, so in the end it all falls back to the dealership,
and I am telling them that if they want me to keep the car, they would have to fix the faults INSTANTLY or I will give the car back and try find another car, or get my old back, ,problem there there will be about the old car, is that the idiot left my old car out in the contract so it says no where that I traded my old car in for this one, =/ so that means I cant claim it back without buying it <.<.

Anyway Norway state laws are good and I can complain and i will win cus they have digged their own grave when he ticked under " has not been badly " damamged in my contract .
Cus the car has been damaged SO bad it was almost unusable, and The paint is really bad so I will get them to respray the car cus its such a bad paint job =/ .

If they pay the repairs or swap car back that would be fair.

Hi Glac thanks for the update. Sorry to hear your tale of woe. I think you will know in your heart which option to take. Keep in touch! Or else.. :D

I was going to suggest that Glac, but the i30's not 4wd.

Any chance of getting a replacement Audi, same type and configuration at no cost to you, after all, that's what you paid for.

You could insist that it be checked by a motoring organization before acceptance. Then you will be finished with the dealer.

From what you are saying i would be requesting a full refund plus compo.

It would appear that no matter what is done to the car it will cause you problems when you sell it later and the resale value will be very low.
Plus you will have to declare its history...

Get rid and buy another, even if it is your i30.

Re not detailing p/x on invoice.
You have proof re transfer document  to dealer don't you plus monetary figure?

Hello Glac, sorry to hear about this.
Is it possible to have a lawyer act on your behalf?
Make the dealer responsible and don't "buy" your old car back. they know you traded it.
Good luck.  :goodjob2:
I have said it before, you live in a most beautiful part of the world.

Bloody shame, all that messing about  :disapp:

It was the car you really wanted, and you drove all day to buy it and another day to fetch it back home  :foottap:

All for nothing... I feel so sorry for you, but have fingers crossed for the best outcome  :fingers:
