Jeeps nice and shiny Tim :goodjob: I bet the girls help you clean it as much as you do :D

I'm keen to see it once you've got the new springs - wheels and guards fitted.

Told her i wasn't stopping if the doll fell out the side lol.

Actually i haven't washed it. Its filthy.
We are on level 4 water restrictions so no outside water use unless its tank or grey. And i refuse to use the car washes with the brush.

The only worry i have is the tyres looking a bit small under the flat flares.

Thanks, they are my world.

Looked good from my angle anyway

Do you have the laser washes there? they're what I usually use.

Its rained a few times and i look at it all shiny and love it.
Havent looked into laser washes but Jo took the Grand through an auto wash a while back and i was very disapointed.
Not sure how the softtop will go either lol.

Laser wash isn't too bad I find, as long as the crap on the car hasn't been baked on there for to long making it very stubborn to remove but it generally gets most stuff off, good for quick in-between washes till I can be bothered spending half a day giving it a proper go over.

The high pressure jets move around the car doing the job and nothing touches the vehicle at all, they've even removed those stupid wheel guides that ruin wheels :crazy1:

Ill have to investigate the few around here. There are at least 4 carwashes in Tamworth.
The time she took the Grand through it came home with half the dirt still on it. Wiped my finger over the glass and it was bad. And there were gloops of carwash liquid still running down the sides.
I rewashed it the next day, the good old days when it was only level 2 restrictions lol.

Your lucky mate.

My wife still has the daughter in a full harness booster seat......and she turns 9 in a couple of weeks....

Lucky the seats in my car are seat belt boosters, so the kids can get in and buckle themselves up!

Also need to figure out a front number plate mount and put driving lights on.
Might get another set of rims and go get my 35" tyres and see how they fit. Got alot of room to move around the 32's.

Liking it - the paintwork looks great as do the new wheels.

I found a new Jeep Grand Cherokee parked next to me at the supermarket the other week... should have taken a photo as the i30 looked like a child's play thing by comparison.

*wonders whether it's possible to mount a 15" spare wheel to the rear of an i30 hatchback*

More pictures. Stretched his legs for the first time on Saturday. Unbolted the swaybar and tried to get it stuck.
This particular trench was on Dads block, he drove through ahead of me in a similar setup Wrangler. Only difference was he had about 6" of air under the LHR and i was still firmly planted on all 4. Drove out with no wheelspin so still has s little left.
LHF is touching guard so will adjust my bumpstops so the tyre just kisses the guard.
Need to find a bigger trench lol.
