That's cheap Keith  :blubber: But I thought your services were included in the price? and anyway it would want to be a lot better than standard Magnatec which gets very mixed feedback over here

I turned down the included servicing in favour of Family Rates which are cheaper Daz. The dealer I had the car from use Millers or Shell, that link was just a reinforcement of the fact that Ford recommend Castrol Magnatec for the Ecoboost engine in the documentation I had with my car...

Y only 20 protection

Personally, I'd be looking for more, even though you don't get our temperatures like we do here. Currently 30.7 Deg C heading for 37, today.

Just to add to the debate, My Hyundai dealer uses Q8 C3 Special Oil as printed on the service receipt

Hope it's as good as Castrol  :D

Must be something to do with the new Tech deployed in the Ecoboost engine, I checked, definitely 5w 20! Remember the cambelt runs in the engine oil and there is also a variable pressure oil pump...

Why C3 oil ( ACEA?) in non diesel engine? That`s for diesels with DPF filters.....it will only make your valves rattle...
