Looking at some new rims and cant decide on style  I'm after black rims as I think they'll go well against sleek silver paint with the black trim around the car and black windows what do you guys/gals think ? I had originally decided on G.MAX Monza rims but found out this morning they're not available anymore :Pout: I've also got my tyres picked out which will be Sumitomo HTR Z111, was thinking about the Yokohama Advan DB 551's but discovered they only have a 20-30 thou life span :faint:

I like the Caesar's ( gloss black ) pictured here but wonder whether they look a bit to clustered/busy

Then there is the Verona's ( semi gloss ) which have a bit more modern look to them I think

Your brakes may look a bit 'inadequate' behind those rims

I like the first one.

If I only had the choice of those two styles,it would be the Verona's,problem with new wheels, they are really a personal liking, for me I'd keep looking

I've been looking for the last few months and thought I'd narrowed it down to just the G.MAX Monza's but they're not available any more, there was also a similar style in the TSW Nurburgring rims but their $500-$600 each and I'm not paying that sort of money unless they were Boyd Coddington Billet rims  :D

So the final decision come down to these two pictured, I know it's my own personal liking in the end but was just seeing if the kind folk here could make me lean me one way or the other :)

@ Craig,

Pretty much evenly split so far  :sweating:

In the past I would have gone the 1st ones, but as you say the Veronas appear to be a newer design.. Hard choice for you!

Yeah it's fairly even so far, maybe tipping towards the Verona's but it's a bloody hard decision :head_butt: and to make things even more confusing I found another three.

Samurai ( matte black )

Evolution ( matte black )

Korsa ( matte black )

Talk about peer group pressure

Evolution's seem to have the majority so far! they're similar to the Caesar's but the ribs are a bit broader and don't look like chicken bones as Phil mentioned, the Evo's look like they would have better outer edge support too and a stronger/solid centre hub.

After being dicked around for the last week with availability of the Roh Evolution wheels I've now managed to find an almost identical wheel in the OX 111, a $100 more expensive than the Roh wheels but I finally got the look I wanted so the deposit is down and they should be here in 5-7 days :D
