Hi all
During the first week of July, I drove from Katoomba to Mudgee and got 4.3, then went onto Dubbo and ended up with 4.5. Not bad for a 300km journey.
On the second week went from katoomba down to Nowra on the south coast. It was heavy traffic along most the way down the mountain. I usually get 2.9 when I hit Penrithand get 4.5 when I hit nowra. But this time I got 3.7 down to Penrith and 4.8 to Nowra.
Almost got 900km at of a tank one time.
But still not bad fuel figures.

I tend not to use cruise control, and go easy with the accelerator. I also use sports mode to change the gear manually before a hill comes depending on speed.

All things that help with economy ... :goodjob:

Welcome, most here might not understand your economy numbers, like 2.9L/100k to penrith, but i used to do a trip right out western NSW just about every second week at one time. & the return trip to Sydney was mostly all down hill from Katoomba to Penrith, so not really a true indication of economy. like i would see unbelievable numbers on the stetch but would see believable numbers going from Penrith to Katoomba or say up Victoria pass . but your getting great economy from the auto just the same.
I filled up in sydney two weeks back & have covered 1,120k on my 2011 FD 6 speed will fill up today. but i hardly ever turn off the trip computer economy & it mostly just sits on 5L/100K all the time unless i turn it off then you see it go up the settle down. but they definitely get great economy if you want them too.
