Good post far2asian. I like the way the winner will be chosen later today "not how little fuel it uses, but on cost of filling". Splendid. The i30 will be there or thereabouts I think  :biggrin:

Isn't this "irish". The cost is the pump price, isn't it! and as we all know depending on where you fill up prices vary.  This element will only be equal so long as every litre bought costs the same.

So, surely the question should be "who uses the least quantity of fuel to travel the distance" Not the cost!

will carry the first-aid kit and fire extinguisher sold standard with each car.

Now these should be standard for all UK cars

could or would be very hard for us to judge as they have vastly different prices and tax's in new zealand, also the weather is a lot cooler. so the outcome is not going to mean much to you in GB or us in AU .
