There is another fuse box under the bonnet (worth checking that too)

You would think that to have the power to fail a vehicle would also come with the responsibility of diagnosing the failing part to make it easier for people to understand what they need to rectify.

If diagnosed during inspection a simple problem like a fuse could likely be fixed at the same time.

I know it may be stating the obvious but they only work with side/headlights on.

Have you checked yourself to be sure.

Does the  green symbol light come on the dash when switch turn to on?

Any loose connections?
