Title: Changing seats in a i30 active
Post by: urmine on February 24, 2021, 10:31:38
Hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me out :)

im about to purchase a used my20 (2019) pd2 i30 active with smartsense pack.

Looooove the car, but the seat is horrific. It will be my second car which I will be using for long weekly highway drives, and my back isn't great at the best of times :(

I have found a couple of wreckers here in Brisbane with Premium/SR seats from a PD. Has anyone switched there base model seats with the nicer model seats ? is this possible? can PD seats be switched with PD2 seats? im assuming the rails and mounting points would all be the same ?

Any previous experiences/learned lessons would be much appreciated.

current model tucson seats are super comfy.

i've also driven long distance in my GD without drama, I have scoliosis and leg pain constantly.

main issues imo would be fitment and air bag compatibility :Good_luck:
