I already have, but don't assume similarities in wiring, could be dangerous.

BTW, please take care on the road to Finland.
could you post a schematic of wiring, that goes to the rear right lights?
thank you  :) I always do, especially in severe weather conditions

Today I have got closer to the plug I told you about and this time I had a better camera and multimeter with me

so I reckon this plug is a part of trunk's power socket, but I failed to find a fuse for it

here is a socket for my OBD scanner  :)

here is a photo of a driver's mat

I also decided to see if it was easy to change air and cabin filters and it turned out to be easier than it was in Hyundai i30
here one may see side restrainers, which proved to be removed and installed easy as compared with i30's ones

having removed restrainers and lowered a compartment we have an access to cabin filter's cover

there is the filter

and its cover with strange slits

In Finland I purchased a set of convenient plastic plates

@Misha

Suggest you connect an audio buzzer to the plug, then selectively remove& replace fuses 1 at a time until you find which one stops the buzzer.

yep, this thought had come to my mind, but it was late as I had placed lining back, so - next time, when I have a power socket

Does your Kia have a brake bulb testing feature (ie, tests the brake lights when you first turn the ignition key)?

yes, those things are tools for dismantling purposes, such as dash board removal etc so it enables to avoid unnecessary scratches, cuts and so on  (it cost me 5 Euro)

On my i30, when I turn the key to ignition, the little screen (which shows when a door is open) briefly shows my brake lights, before they disappear; that's there to test the bulbs.

Didn't your i30 have that?

I just thought that maybe your cee'd might have that feature in a higher model, but the wiring is there anyway.

no, I didn't have it on my i30  :undecided:
I don't think any higher Cee'd model has this feature too, at least there is no info about it in a manual
That plug's wire length is too shot for brake lights

True, but it's just a connector, so it's meant to join up with something going further along.

It was just a thought.

Not sure, but I think it lights to test the instrument warning light only, not the rear brake lights

On mine, it shows this, tho it does say "if fitted"

have gone through a manual again, but found nothing similar to this

here is where a power socket is typically located in Cee'd trunk

a power socket that I ordered some weeks ago fitted well

so next problem that has to be sorted out is how to make a hole in a plastic fairing

by the way I have got two mishaps happened to my car, all of them caused by foreign objects flew from the other vehicles
here is a place where a stone hit my windscreen

and here is another ufo that came from the opposite road and hit my forward bumper leaving some scratches there

Yes, I'd be happy with a small UFO.  :)
in my childhood I dreamed of meeting ALF and hosting him in my home  :)

So far I have drilled a hole in a plastic and placed a power socket, time to plug a wiring and install a fairing  :happydance:
I'll have a power socket in a trunk at last
