Quick question will 7.5 x 17 offset et42 original Hyundai alloys fit my Hyundai i30 mk1 2009 1.4 comfort and if so which tyres are best 225 45 17 or 225 45 17 tyres

I can't answer your question about fitment, not knowing what is crrently on a 1.4 in the UK, but you might like to revisit the tyre sizes you've listed. Currently they are both the same. 225 45 17

I'm assuming from your OP that you have access to these wheels.  If so, the safest thing is to try them on the car.

The alloys on my car are
5.5Jx15 ET46
5x114.3

67.1

My main concern is the et42 and the 7.5 width on the alloys I have

If they're original Hyundai alloys you are wanting to fit then there shouldn't be a problem, 215's are the width tyres you'll need on 7.5" rims.
