Title: Power differance between 2L CDRI Diesel and what is available now
Post by: sheepman on May 24, 2020, 11:57:04
Have a 2009 2L diesel ,still a good car but done over 165000 miles starting to think about a possible change but do not want to go backwards in power ,how much worse are the newer diesel version as far as power goes as you no longer get a 2 L or should i move to Petrol i have no interest in electric as there are virtually no charge points in our area

The 1.6 CRDi has always batted above its weight. But the Petrol 1.6 Turbo we get in Oz is also very nice. I think you can only get a 1.0 petrol Turbo and a 1.4 Petrol turbo in Europe although a new 1.5 litre turbo petrol is on the way.
