The iconic Volkswagen Kombi is no more. It’s been called many things over the decades – Camper, Transporter, Microbus – but after half a century on our roads, production at its Brazilian factory has ended after churning out more than a million units since 1957.

Watched a vid last month showing the final units rolling off the production line. End of an era.

Despite the fact their number on the roads is much lower now, my 4 year old is obsessed with them....
