I do a fair bit of driving on a 3 lane highway that always has a flow of heavy trucks/semi-trailers.

I really hate it when one of the trucks moves out of the slow lane to overtake another truck when going up a hill but can't quite build up enough speed to get around...so just stays there in the middle lane next to the other truck....much to the amusement of all of the other road users just trying to get home. 

Even worse is when a 3rd truck decides to move out into the right lane to overtake the 'slower' trucks in the other 2 lanes. This happens on every trip that I make from Sydney northwards on the M1....I hate that yeh.....

Misuse of the word GAY is another pet hate.  It has always meant happy and cheerful, and is also short for a rather nice name for a girl, namely Gaynor.  What on earth is wrong with homosexual or lesbian?

I hate the term professional foul in football.  A foul is a foul.

Another pet hate in football is when the so called experts talk about a player earning or winning a free kick or a penalty.  A free kick or penalty is awarded by the referee against a player for an infringement of the rules. A free kick can be gained by cheating but never earned.

The offside rule...

Should return to the status of a player is offside if only 1 opposing player is between them and the goal line when the ball is kicked and they are not in their own half!
Get rid of 'not interfering with play' crap!

I hate it when the media talk about a footballer earning £250,000 per week or a company director earning several million pounds a year. No one can possibly be said to earning that kind of money, they may be paid it but definitely don't earn it.
