Hola Gonz, applied properly, and in your sunny climate it should be fine mate. Here in Pomland I found it did the job but doesn't last when there's not enough sun to cure it before rain. I only paid £1 for my first Pen from China, but it dried out so I got another for £3 that I haven't used yet.
