GOT PROBLEMS OR ISSUES? => PETROL => Topic started by: Jonesy_ on September 14, 2018, 09:24:15

Hey all,
Was poking around the car this evening (put some LED interior lights in) and while I had the bonnet open I noticed some liquid around a hose. Closer inspection it appears to be oil coming from a line that goes from above the exhaust manifold to under the airbox. I assume this may lead to the turbo?
Just wondering if anyone has the same issue, what this line is and whether there should be a clamp on it? I have attached some pics. The car has only done 250km.
Thanks everyone.

Doesn't look like a leak, maybe moisture mixing with the detailing spray the service mob have sprayed over the plastics :undecided: give it a wipe and see if it returns.
Looks like a low pressure vacuum line, wont be to turbo as that's at the back of the engine.

Thanks @CraigB figured it was a vac line of some sort, it's definitely oil and I've wiped it and will see if it returns. I had already wiped it but there was distinct droplets around the hose tail. Must go from there back the intake as apart of the re-circ?
I've been looking for the turbo but had trouble finding it, it's that small lol makes sense it's at the back.
