Wow, I wish I had enough money to do that to Mike's (interphase) CW  :whistler:

But:-

I genuinely like the car, not necessarily Hyundai (UK), who are currently attempting, and I use the term loosely, to "rectify the problem"

Only last night, Hyundai's official approved dealer who should have returned Hyundai's call last August, rang and asked me to take the car in for 3 days, (today), so they can read the DTC !
When I told them it was P2138, and the replacement loom was a 30 day delivery, they said Hyundai (UK) would ring me this morning, and so the saga continues from year to year....

..... they said Hyundai (UK) would ring me this morning,

Today Customer Service lectured me for 28 minutes - they still had no idea of the fault & solution that I had easily discovered, and were "trying their best".
They asked me to email them the fault & rectification details, they also rang my dealer for the same - but it was me who had sent it to him 3 weeks earlier

In 50 years of business dealings, I have never had such a dreadful argument - all I wanted was the car fixed, but Hyundai (UK) had now turned the agenda otherwise.
The new Hyundai dealer still has no idea of this solution, yet Hyundai (UK) instructed me never to return to my dealer, who was now sorting it all out, and I had known for over 30 years,  (yesterday the Wife spent nearly £400 with them).

I blame Hyundai (UK) totally for professional ignorance of their product, and leading the dealership "up the garden path", for over 2 years.

 :wtf:

What has being Iranian got to do with this man's problem with an inept dealer?

BTW, magic carpets don't exist. :disapp:

Iran is just such an orderly place, full of people quietly going about their business.

It IS his car and he's quite entitled to do as he wishes with it on his own property, but there are better ways to make your point.

But then it wouldn't make the news and not as many people would know about it.

And I agree with UM, what does Iranian have to do with the price of eggs in China?
