I threw up in my mouth just looking at that heart stopper.  It looks repulsive.  I want one.

It reminds me the last time I was in Vegas. I've been playing the slots till about 3am and decided to go to the restaurant for a bite to eat before jumping into bed, I ordered a lasagne and when it came I said to the waiter 'is that all mine' yes sir that's what you ordered, I'm not joking it was the size of a sliced loaf of bread, I could only manage 3 mouth full it just put me off eating. Every time I went back to the Casino restaurant Mike the waiter just pissed himself laughing at me, asking me if I wanted another one, son of a bitch.

That's what I thought about "The Elvis" jaffle at The Red Velvet Lounge.

It sounds disgusting, a toasted jaffle, containing the following ingredients: bacon, banana, strawberry jam and peanut butter.  However, it was delicious!!

I don't think I will ever be trying that doughnut thingy though, I like my arteries just the way they are.

Not a long line at the 7/11. Though I do recall the days when friends would fly back from Sydney or Melbourne with a pack.

I tried Krispy Kreme when I was in USA. Didn't like it one bit. Amazes me how many people buy them at Sydney airport on their way home.

Especially now with all the carry on luggage, I had to fly with my back pack under my legs because the people with oversize luggage needed more room..... :fum:

I always fly Qantas Dash-8 so don't know how many airlines offer it and on which planes, but I have recently discovered premium baggage service :D
You "carry on" your bag to the plane, leave it at the steps and grab it from the steps when you get off. So much easier :)

I used to get 50% discount at Krispy Kreme, which made them almost reasonable prices.  I did however, buy two dozen on the way back from Sydney last weekend (which did bring the individual price down).  My MIL had not tried them before, and my kids like them, so one dozen original glazed and one dozen mixed it was.

Like cruiserfied, I fly most places with Qantas, so I always have checked luggage.  I does annoy me how many people try and get large bags in as "carry on" on the discount airlines.  There is a "test" thingy near the gates, if you can't get it in the thingy, don't try and put it on the aircraft as carry on.

I fly cheapest to get where I want to go, Jetstar, Tiger, Virgin.

I hate carry on with a passion, since I only usually go for a couple of days, a back pack with the basics is more than enough. When I arrive, I'm straight out the door and on my way....

I used to do that regularly from MLB or SYD airports, half price, four dozen at a time, perfect fit for overheads in Qantas. :victory:

When I was working in Sydney the partner of one of my storemen got a job at Crispy Crème when they first came to Australia. I guess at their bakery. She used to turn up sometimes with a couple of freebie boxes. They didn't last long.
