Didn't happen to find any loose Rand at the bottom, did you.
I bank with the bank that we are doing the installs for so they would probably catch me out and take it all back out of my account

Since receiving Hippo in June she has seen temps from -2 to 42*C, and both were in Grahamstown.

And my friends wondered why I left

We had a 44.5c here in Perth last Monday :coolingoff: it wasn't very pleasant but thankfully it's dropped back to the low 30's now.

charging my sons lipo batteries last night for his rc car and it burst into flames...we had an emergeny on our hands..
lucky we were home and lucky there was little damage..it was in the utilty room where we got ceramic tiles...took 8 hours too clean the mess up

PEEPS IF U HAVE AN RC CAR THAT USES LIPO BATTERIES PLEASE EITHER CHARGE THEM IN A FIRE PROOF BOX OR CHARGE THEM OUTSIDE..

these things can killyou

You better up your insurance... :sweating: (you do live in Russia after all)
the coins I have had so far are peanuts as compared with others  :)
I could have sent some to you, but the law - the parcel won't pass the customs.

@Drew, Don't buy cheap lipo's and always use the medium to slow charge unless you have an auto charger that monitors temp an voltage and when charge is maximum it auto cuts out with alarm.

I use a Venom Pro Charger.

My buggy - CATsx with a 3.5 turn brushless Hobbywing motor, she'll hit 130kph in about 4 seconds with the 3.5 but on short dirt track I'll run an 8.5 turn.

drew peacock
we got a proper charger
top spec one
i had em  on high amp...maybe that was the cause..scary stuff...

he's got a 2014 kyosho inferno mp9e...all singing all dancing car...cost us over 1000 quid with the batterys charger ect...only going to charge outside now on low amp setting

High charge rate will kill lipos :disapp: should never exceed 1C ( 1x capacity charge rate )

I built my CAT from kit form with a ton of extra carbon fibre and alloy parts, I think the buggy alone cost me $1700 then the motor-remote and charger were additional.

A good charger should have a cell block balancer which will communicate with the charger and automatically prohibit you for charging to high.

I've never heard of Pucka, not something we get here  :undecided: I thought the kyosho mp9e came with a charger in the kit with the powerflo 7.4 battery "which are not very good lipos tbh "

Yeah I used to race to nitros for a while when I was a kid and also the 1/4 scale sprint cars when I was an older kid :) in the club down at the MotorPlex Speedway, eventually backed off for the amount of $ being absorbed and moved into the sparkies, more reliable and less mess :goodjob2:

not a ready built  kyosho i had to build it
not sure of the charger but was the best one he had in stock .we use 4c lipo's 14v jobbies  it's ok but not the best car
gonna get him a mugen in spring...
had many nitros

cba with them any more...nothing but problems..at our local club they are forever pulling the motors ect...no no batterys are way better...baja is just a typical american thing..ok in a straight line

Yes but you charged it at to high a rate... which your charger shouldn't have allowed :disapp:

I'm staying with Dave from 15th to 18th (so probably best if you and Dave work out what suits on those days) Craig might join us too..  :goodjob:

I was still washing/chamois the car at that time,  :welcome: to Perth Dazz

Thanks Craig, better catch up with Dad today, but be in touch soon...  :goodjob:

+ Back last night from a nice relaxing / fishing trip to Port Neill, Port Lincoln and Cowell.

+ We used Mrs G's 1995 SEAT Cordoba rather than subject the i30 to some unsealed roads.

- We lost the front left hubcap and mudflap at some point.when we spent a day cockling.

Please return to The Gonz if anyone sees it.
"ns"

+ Nice excuse to rummage around the 3 SEATs at U-Pull-It Lonsdale today. :D

But that was the best part. Seeing what you could hide and get away with. We knew it, they knew it, they over charged just to cover for it.
Now we can't do that anymore and they still overcharge for it.
