Just read that KIA offering 7 year unlimited K
& Citrone have a 6 Year unlimited K warranty
So when will Hy go 8 year unlimited K
But the fine print alway's read's , for private owner's only as they know the average Joe only does around 15,000k 20,000k per year a pro would average 55,000k & up per year so private use will be 5 year 100,000k on average up that to 7 year & 140,000k
A friend & his wife average around 50,000 to 60,000 a year sell there cars every two to 3 years with a lot of fast k 's up but perfect

Been 7 years in uk for many a year. Not sure how many but at least 10 years.
Have looked at t&c's and only certain items for 7 years and lots of get out clause i found.
Sounded good but t&c's need to be read in depth to make sure you fully understand them.

I had a read, the only controversial one I could see was :
Tyre Warranty
The KIA New Car Warranty does not cover tyres. Tyres are covered by the express warranties of their respective manufacturers or suppliers and any claim for tyres should be directed to the nearest tyre.

That's not really controversial. It's pretty normal - Hyunda, Subaru, Toyota that I kknow of personally.

yeah, it's 7 years but 100k miles Lester so not really the same.
The 7 years only applies to the drivetrain, everything else is 5 years and as you point out has more holes than a swiss cheese, I still suspect that the Hyundai warranty is slightly better, however major mechanical defects are relatively rare on the i30, so I was happy to assume that the Cee'd was cut from the same cloth and would also benefit from excellent mechanical reliability. :D
