Left Perth at the beginning of last week. Was told that unless
something goes wrong i'd have it by the weekend. It is now
Monday night and no word. Tomorrow will be the end of my patience.

I'M PAYING FOR A CAR I DON'T EVEN HAVE YET

Dave,

Interesting that it is coming from Perth.  Someone else suggested Hyundai drop cars in Perth of the ship and then freight them across to Adelaide.  I thought that strange at the time, but you have confirmed it.

All the info from the dealer at the time we got ours suggested ours was dropped off in Adelaide.

Bob

Bob are you able to confirm this with your dealer. LeeUm's post suggests that they are. Very confusing  :?

Dave,

Bit confusing, I admit.  As I am going past the dealer tomorrow I will pop in and ask if I have time.

The ships unload in about 8  to 10 hours , havibg a ship tied up in port is big bucks . Would imagine customs would take 1 to 2 days ?  Then from Fremantle port onto a truck to holding yard 1 day . Probaly the another day from holding yard to train freight yard , then onto S.A , 3 days . Of train onto a truck to a holding yard in Adelaind . From holding yard to dealer ? . It took my dealer 10 days to bring my car from the holding yard in Perth to Mandurah 60 klm south go figure. W.A = wait awhile . I would ask to see some paper work on the cars where abouce .It should all be tracked some how like parcel post.

I think they are giving 2 keys with remote now with new cars, at last over here in Croatia..

When I drove test car this week I saw there ware 2 keys on the keyring like on the picture above..

It seems there ware too much complaints so they changed their politics about remote keys..

BTW... nice car Dave  ;)

Is that a personalized plate? Interesting designation.. didn't think that was your final choice but fairly distinctive anyway.. ;)

Cheers,

Those standard plates look pretty neat (if it were me I'd keep them and spend the $$$ on some other improvement  8-)

What more can i do to it (apart from exhaust). It's an SR  8-) . I've got new dash and floor mats.
Cargo liner, 17" alloys, window tinting, new headlight globes & bodykit.

Sun-roof could be an option in the future.

Those plates would be great on an SX version.  Nice looking car Dave.  I shall keep my eye open for it.  Let us, regardless of the plates you have.

Great choice of colour (same as mine 8-) ) Hope you voted for steel grey.
