After owning a Golf 2 for several years I realized that I am too old for that car, I need something spacious and reliable.
I spent many weeks in front of the computer browsing for possible cars, when one of my friends suggested me Hyundai brand in general.
I checked about it and immediately fell in love with the facelift i30 cw, 2011 model was which I could afford.
I am really happy with it ever since, I am doing my first oil change next week, so far no problems with the car.
A funny little story: My Golf wasn't the greatest looking car, it was fast for sure, but from the outside it was rather plain. I was parking in front of my house for 6 years with that car, not even one scratch happened. I brought my new Hyundai home, pearlescent black, beautiful thing. On the second week someone hit the front of my car, scratching the bumper, the fender and the lamp. I was devastated, even called the police to check the street cameras. Nothing came out of course. Si I decided to polish it myself. Below is the result, I think it came out pretty nice.
I already learnt a lot on this forum even before and during my purchase.
During checking the car, the ESC was not working, I checked on the forum and turned out it was a battery related issue. Bargained some because of it anyway
