How many grammer and spelin misteaks can you spot on this Covid advice page of the website for a restaurant in Seaton, Devon.

I am considderin bookin this restaurant for diner next Thursday evening when we are on oliday for 8 days neerby.

It leaves me concerned that they may not be able to read a recipe correctly and the final line in the instructions suggesting that you have to be naked is of concern






These are the errors that I consider worthy of correction :-

My quandary is – should I email them to politely point out that this page rather tarnishes their otherwise very nice website.

I have just received an Email from the restaurant thanking me for my message and dinner booking. They are going to get their web host to correct it. I also do lots of analysing posts for spelling errors. I guess Australia has its own dictionary.   

Here is a copy of the Email from the restaurant :

Hi Alan,

I feel like I should be sat in the corner wearing a dunces hat currently.
Anyway thanks for pointing out my mistakes on our Covid web page. I will do my best to update when I have time hopefully over the next couple of days.

Luckily we have not had any naked customers turning up at the door! Asking to bare with us!

I have booked you in for Thursday at 7pm, the table does have a 90 minute time allowance on it just to let you know.

Also just as a warning I wrote the menu so there will more than likely be a few mistakes on it.
