This makes one think and also puts things in perspective. 
 
Apple Juice 16 oz £1.29 ........... £10.32 per gallon.
 
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz £1.19 ........... £9.52 per gallon.

Ocean Spray 16 oz £1.25 ............ £10.00 per gallon.

Brake Fluid 12 oz £3.15 ............. £33.60 per gallon.
 
Vick’s Nyquil 6 oz £8.35 ........ £178..13 per gallon.

Pepto Bismol 4 oz £3.85 ........... £123.20 per gallon.

Tippex 7 oz £1.39 ........................... £5.42 per gallon.
 
And this is the REAL KICKER.

Evian water 9 oz £1.49 ……….. £21.19 per gallon.
 
£21.19 for WATER and the buyers don't even know the source.   
(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)   

You don't even want to compare it with perfume or after shave.   

Ever wonder why printers are so cheap?    So they have you hooked for the ink.  Someone calculated the cost of the ink at ................. (you won’t believe it .... but it is true ........)

So, the next time you’re at the pump, be glad your car doesn’t run on water, or Tippex, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil or, God forbid, Printer Ink!

the whole thing is a bit tenous, given that it does not state which version of ounces and gallons they are going with.
Assuming that it is Imperial measurements (cos it is written in GB pounds, but Nyquil and Pepto Bismol are more USA ) the following costs apply

Apple Juice - £2.84 / litre
Tea = £2.62 / litre
Ocean Spray = £2.75 / litre
Brake fluid = £9.24 / litre
Nyquil = £48.98 / litre
Pepto Bismol = £33.88 / litre
Tippex = £6.99 / litre
Water = £5.82 / litre.

My conclusion then is that the sooner we sort out Hydrogen power and I can attach a few Evian bottles to my exhaust the better

Not really sheckles.....but local currency, no wonder I am seeing every 2nd car over here running a big V8, it is a car lovers wet dream!!!! I love it.

3 x Rolls Royce Dropheads ( 1 of them a 2 door convertable RRP $1.2 mil oz)

Local currency is the Dirham, which is made up of 1000 fils.  When I was last there (2010) the exchange rate was about 3.5 Dirhams to $1 Aust.
