Me too.
Looking at the satellite picture it looks like it's lined up more for south of Perth at the moment.
But the Bureau of Meteorology said that the worst of it will hit Perth between 10.00 pm tonight and 2.00 am.
It is supposedly going to be worse than Sunday's storm which was bad enough but they reckon this one will last longer.
Fingers crossed.

The storm wasn't as bad as the one on Sunday as it turned out so no problems.
I had tucked away what I could but a few were still outside but all good.

Apparently there are crews being flown over from South Australia & Tasmania to help Western Power with the clean up and in the restoring of electricity to the tens of thousands of homes that lost power over the past few days.
So thanks SA & Tassie

You doing shift work Jamie?  Tullah used to be the end of the earth but not bad now they have Lake Rosebery all set up (almost a tourist Mecca)

One of my workmates has a Pink V8 speed boat (called pink bits) and he and his family go there every chance they get...

That's good.
We just had another front through here about an hour ago with absolutely torrential rain and the thunder was so close and so loud I thought the house had been hit. (It hadn't  ).
It's calmed down again now though, so just back to lighter rain.

I love thunder & lightning during the day, but it hardly ever happens here, most goes south and hits Victoria & Tassie. I'm using tank water for the house at the moment, so rain would be welcome. The SA govt just put water up 16%. Oz inflation rate is around 3.5%. Thanks a lot govt

Sounds like our govt. All utility charges are going through the roof.

We don't seem to get a lot of Lightning and Thunder in our part of Tassie (The Central North and North West) I know it can be spectacular but it can also cause Electrical damage and fires (so better off without it IMO)

WE have quite a bit of rain forecast for this week but so far only had a bit .. But our tanks should still be at healthy levels
