I ride mine, but only locally.  No big rides.  It's a hybrid and must be 10 or more years old now.

Several years ago I bought a second bike, a mountain bike with front suspension and the intention was to learn to do wheelies.  That idea has been on the back burner for a while now ...

I have a 21 speed mountain bike which gets wheeled out occasionally, looking forward to getting out on it this year with Eilidh now she is on to a bike with gears too.  Hopefully start to remove some of this excess stomach at the front of me!

How far to work?

Have you ever thought about using it to save the planet?

I did it as we had showers and secure rack.

Only lasted a week though!
Mind was keen but legs not!

I do something very similar.
I alternate between sitting, lying down and resting.
In fact, I must go and do one of them now.

Well i made it  :),
there was around 40 good ol boy's n girl's.
they had two rides one 42k another a shorter easier route. i took the 42k & i'm stuffed  :disapp: :) but loved it. they all had mostly mountain bikes with suspension & a few Hybid, i was only one with a flat bar skinny tyre race bike. they mostly ride dirt tracks was some rough dirt hill's to go up & down i just had to take a lot more care, as a skinny tyre race bike does not like to hit a pot hole going down a big dirt hill fast!
they were a group of very nice people. the club president was a Pom , nice Guy too. now what i'd like to do is try it on one of those single wheel bikes i'd say that would be a real challenge!
cheers

We don't need to see photos again, please.

I have recently cleaned up my bike, and intend to start riding it again on my days off.  It's a 24 speed flat-bar road bike.

The only kind of riding I like is the kind that has 1000cc of motorised backup between my knees (and it's too many years since that happened :()

My mountain bike is hanging in the bike room for nicer weather but I admit that time on the bike is time away from the gym so not likely soon.  :whistler:

Yes there are a few John..  but I would have to borrow Trish's CW to cart any bike to those areas.. Not worth the agro!

I had a bike when we moved here 5 years ago but sold it in a garage sale..  :undecided:

Was seriously considering an electric bike until my Brother got skittled on his scooter (bikes are now a bit of a dirty word in our family, although I think my remaining Brother still rides his pushy and Kawasaki M/C a bit)

That was sad about your brother, Dazz.

I'm lucky to have a cycleway across the road, in Sydney i had to use the car to get pushy to a cycleway, i'd never use the road. but i used to ride to the railway station once a year yo do the Sydney Spring Cyle loved that. you get free passage for your pushy on trains in sydney. it's a pushy friendly city. but there are lots that hate the fact too.

i personally think crossing a road is the most dangerous thing you can do. we all do that.
