While Australians are boiling, Europeans are turning into ice cubes!

I guess I'll start.

4°C and a few rain drops.

Some snow due here in the early hours of tomorrow morning. 200 miles away in Devon people have been stuck on the motorway for over 6 hours again.    Sod that!!!

It was 40 degress yesterday, but today it already feels over 30 degrees at 10am... (Sydney)

23:10 (pm, for those who live in the dark times) and it's +1C but there's slush around.

Very cold wind chill makes it feel colder but I have the heating running at full tilt, so it's like a sauna in my house.

And I've just had a very large Tia Maria with Vodka and ice.

Thats nice, I think I could live in Tasmania, one question: Is Tasmania a cool place? or is it just a place where old people live?

I remember when I was in Eastbourne UK, the only thing I could see was old people in their scooters or whatever it's called

But few years later I was in Broadstairs in Kent, and same situation there, lots and lots of old people.

Maybe all the old people retire to southern UK.

It is foggy here, outside temperature has gone up to -3°C and main roads are soaking in salt and slush.

No we have some nice young ones too  


Some young ones like my daughter Ashley leave the  state and go to the mainland but most come back eventually because our climate is more pleasant and people are generally more pleasant (friendly and open) here - no offence to mainlanders.
