There were 768 i30s sold last mounth (may 2008) in Australia and a total for the year
so far of 4246. looks like sales droped last mounth or they are having big problems
being able to get supply from the factory.

Reckon it has to be a supply problem .. they are certainly not sitting around at the dealers

Could also be because at the moment, with end of year sales on everywhere, Dealers are doing drive away deals on just about everthing but the i30. The Hyundai Elantra for example Is just $19990 drive away with free ESP!
Its basicly the same car as the i30 only in a sedan.
Astras are drive away, similar deals on focus.
With a three month on an i30, Dealers for the most part wont bust on price so some of these other models become more attractive to the buyer looking for good value.
