Any one one know where is the CARD (METAL PLACARD) that show engine #, Colour Code  and built date in i30 diesel located?

because i need to buy a 5 litres paint

oops! i dont know if im plain blind and didnt see your location or you just put it in >< but yeah! ok, when you open the door of the passsenger that sits beside the driver, there is the metal placard bolted onto the door towards the bottom. There should be a sticker on the inside edge, but below that should be the metal placard. I would take a photo but it is pouring right now in sydney ><

Our 2006 getz had the compliance plate in the boot under the boot mat, near the spare wheel (may be worth a look in there)

woah daz, random much??? i remem our old excel..or maybe it was the camry..it had the compliance plate/sticker inside the glove compartment and my friend's one being on the dash near the driver's side, but i think that was an ooold car. elsewards...i have no idea...soz i couldnt be of any more help!

The tire sticker is on the drivers side.  The Australian VIN plate and build sticker is on the PASSENGERS side.  I've previously posted pics of this on the other place. http://www.hyundai-forums.com/index.php?showtopic=25775&hl=vin+plate

In UK, mines is on the pillar passenger side just below door lock hook.

I found mine.. is acctually near HINGES of the front passenger door, and is not a metal.. is stickers.. -.-

That's interesting the've gone to a bar code and put it somewhere a bit more protected
