Jason117 = Jason (umm..thats me) and the 117 is my father's race car number. He's used the same number since the early 60's ( he's still racing at age 74) so it's kinda sentimental to me.

He is racing a 1964 Nota Sportsman Clubman. A pic can be found here....http://www.flickr.com/photos/14373548@N03/2866838227/
He's owned the car since 1967 and he has a lot of fun in it.

There were around 100 of them made, but many were crashed into the concrete walls around the race tracks of Australia, so not many remain.

My rego is GURKHA because I'm from Nepal and the Nepalese soldiers in places like the UK, Singapore and India have are known as the Gurkhas. The 17, because when I joined my school soccer team I was given that number and my B'day is on the 17th Nov, so ever since I've the number 17 when I need to use a number, like email id.

“TK421, why aren’t you at your post” – the only line in Star Wars that refers to a storm troopers callsign. Original? No. I had seen someone else using it and thought it was rather clever and only something a few diehard star wars fans would recognise. BTW, I’m not a huge fan, but i like the movies. Of course poor old tk421 got mugged and had his uniform stolen onboard the millennium falcon before he could even deliver a single line. At the end of the day, it’s just one of many usernames i use.

Tim.

Nothing to do with cars (perhaps carts though?).

I've been doing family history research for a few years now. One of my relations in the late 18th/early 19th century rented a property which was referred to as "Cow Leasow" (aka "Cow Leaze"). Cow Leasow actually referes to the meadow in which the property stood - basically a field for cows! (Obviously the field was more important that the tiny cottage and the paupers who inhabited it!).

So, I use that name here and there on the internet. For this forum I stuck UK on the end just so people can see at a glance that I'm UK-based (and therefore talking pounds, miles, and right-hand drive!). (This was before I knew you could put your location onto your post :-[ ).

Anyone got any thoughts as whether all members should put in their location so it is visible below their avatar like mine?
