In the North East we have a very talented artist called Ray Lonsdale well known for his artwork in steel. His greatest art work to me is his WW1 soldier known locally as Tommy. Made from corteen steel he sits next to the war memorial at Seaham Harbour in County Durham. I often stand next to him wishing I could read his mind.
