Title: 2014 1.6 diesel replace condensor
Post by: merc200 on May 19, 2022, 16:44:49
Hi. My condensor for the A/C has been deemed leaking from a HVAC technician, system is emptied now.
I "play ball on a budget", so I watched a video on youtube where he replaces a condensor on an i40 (looks the same)

What are the pitfalls to avoid?

If I take the front bumper, and then step by step (following the video) losening the headlights, the 'radiator crossbeam', the plastic 'air guides', any possible horn assy, and losening the
2 pipes for HI and LO pressure (minding the rubber o-rings)

It's not rocketscience, right?

From Sweden..

Hej, Merc.

It seems you may be the first member to try, based on the absence of replies so far.

Maybe if you post pictures as you go, we can respond with any cautions you might need.

Good luck with the job.
