Hello all.

Has anyone come across the weird clutch hydraulic system on the new i30's? The fluid reservoir is attached to an electrical unit which is located on the gearbox itself. There is no bleed nipple visible but I need to replace the clutch, I don't really want to start until I know how to bleed out the new slave cylinder. Anyone got any clues?

Thanks in advance  :goodjob:

Hi. It would be good if you stated which generation i30 you have (e.g. FD, GD or PD) and the model year. If it is latest shape, then thats a PD.
May also be good idea to post a photo of what you have been looking at on your specific clutch/gearbox.

It is a 2022 but the clutch is a wear and tear component so I doubt it would ve covered, especially as its done 40k

Check the warranty t&c's.
May be 50k or 100k or time period.

Sorry about the delay getting a photo uploaded. My local dealer said they'd call me back with some technical advice, but I'm still waiting...

Any clues anyone??
