I'm loving my i30 (dubbed Bluebelle) I've had her almost a week now, finally got to take her for a long drive this afternoon, about an hour up to my parents house in the Perth Hills. I've got to say I loved every second of the drive, she had no issues with "redhill" which used to cause my old girl (Little Black B!tch) no end of issues. The road noise wasn't anywhere near what I expect after reading everyone posts, so I'm pleased as punch with that. I'm also loving the stereo I've got my 8g USB going, the only thing that bothers me is the random turning itself off each time I start the car, but I can live with it :) So far the only thing about the car that really bothers me is the bright blue dash lights at night, far too bright for me, I've got it dailed to the lowest setting and its still a bit much, but I'm sure I'll get used to that too :)

All in all I'm massively in love with her!

welcome Bel680.

Nice to hear your pleased with her, with regards to the illuminations, I s'pose you toggled the DARK switch to the off position?.  I find that if I leave the dark switch un-toggled the screen really is very bright, but I hit the dark switch and find it just about tolerable *for me* but we're all different which is good.

People who have had the "random usb not working on startup" problem have "fixed" it by using a different type of stick, so you have another you can try?

Yep, USB sticks can be very temperamental.  I have had a few that misread which is no good if you have important documents on them.  I now only use Kingston Data Traveller [If I'm allowed to say that] and never have any problem  :goodjob: :goodjob:
