Hey I'm new here, hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I just got a new stereo for my 2012 Touring GLS and it includes bluetooth, USB/iPod, FM/AM and even DVD, the only problem is that the stereo needs to be connected to the park brake indicator in order for the DVD to play. because Obviously it's illegal to watch DVD's while driving. I just wasn't sure where or how to connect the park break... The stereo system clearly marks which wire needs to be connected, just not where the other end is in the car. If anyone could help me out with this it would be awesome! thanks so much!

Hey mate, if you wish to watch DVD while driving connect it to ground and your done, this also allows you to access some of the menus without the hand brake being on,  otherwise you need to pull the console out to get access to the handbrake switch and connect to the wire that turns to ground when the handbrake is on, if you specify what model the unit is we could give you more specific details if someone knows the unit

So just take the pink wire from the deck(which the installation instructions say is the ebrake wire) and connect it to a ground wire in the in the mass of cables coming out of the car? I'll give it a shot! Thanks!
