Many moons ago I posted on the forum details of all the cars I have owned since I bought my first Standard 8 in 1958. It was a 2 year old rust bucket when I bought it and it taught me the skills of applying epoxy filler and fibreglass.

Since then I have had 25 cars  - not all owned personally, some were company cars - varying from an 850 cc coughing side valve up to a 4.5 litre American V8.

I have brought the old list up to date - here it is....

Another new car on order Alan :) you're doing a good job of turning them over pretty quick for the last several years :goodjob:

I have never turned a car over. I've come off a motorbike 3 times though.

Anyway, I have only had 26 cars in 58 years of driving

I found that fascinating Alan,it was great looking at all the different cars. Always did like the Singer  Gazelle., another favorite was the Rover 90 even though it was a bit of a tank. My mate had a Sunbeam Talbot and thought he was the bees knees. My dad went from a motorbike & side car to a Singer roadster and never did master the art of changing gears, he used to go to the railways station and back  that was about 5 miles away in first gear  needless to say he never did pass his driving test.

@ Gonz
