My recommendation would be just to add one more pictures section titled Other Hyundai Models (or something similar) what do you reckon Steve?

Sounds good to me...

The thing is, when those nice lottery people send me the cheque, which I am assuming will be anytime soon   I am tossing up between an Aston Martin and a Jaguar XJ, or, even both.  So, we may have to have two other sections as well as an IX20 section.

Our i20's, ix20's, i30's and ix35's all come from Czech factory.

It is only available on the top of the range (Style in the UK) version.  If Australia get the ix20 it will probably be called the Highlander.................

Re-zeroed the trip meter after topping up the tank to the brim this morning on the way back from golf and then we went out and about for a wee trip this afternoon.  Gauge currently reading 47.6mpg

Update:

my old i30 has been sold, be interesting to see if she crops up on here again :goodjob: :goodjob:

Got my carpet mats and mudflaps yesterday, all fitted by myself last night, I think that the anchor system for the ix20 is more robust than on the first edition i30's, hooks are built in to the floorpan on both driver and passenger side.  Much better than threading your own hole in the carpet!

The rear footwell mat for the ix20 (yes mat not mats) is a single piece which goes from door to door, nicely fitted around the front seat anchors and round the centre cubby, no tunnel lump in this one so center passengers don't have to "straddle"

The mudflaps took me 15 minutes to install front and rear and IMHO really finish the car off, it just looks more "complete" with them.

Fuel gauge is currently reading half full having completed 230 miles on the top half, pretty good for a 48 litre tank :goodjob: :goodjob:

Atleast your old i30 should be easy to spot.. Sounds like more ix20 photos are in order Brian..

Was going to say sounds like you have a hole in your tank  :winker: (Then realised you are talking MILES)  :goodjob:

OK for all you metric non-imperialists  370km for 24 litres.

So 6.5l/100km

Ohhh cheeky :winker: :winker:

I will see if mine improves though, I fully expect it to and considering that so far I am getting that value in the first 500kms of the engine I am sure it will get better.

I also suspect that it would be a bit better if it was not exposed to my lead-hooved better half, it was the same in the i30, I could get the economy to improve gradually over a longer journey, at best Kim hands the car back to me with the same value showing on the gauge   :whistler:

I'm sure it will improve.. but 6.5 is still good.. :goodjob:

I believe I drive very frugally but Trish recently got ours down to 6.2 after I had it stuck on 6.3 for ages (she cruises on the highway at around 100 kph whereas I drive at a true 110 by the GPS where I can)  :-[

I wish many-many happy and economic miles :D
We're going to miss your stripes though :blubber: ...or not? (*see further down)

I think it looks like Kia Venga, but better equipped and with ISG

100 ltrs more would be handy for family's luggage... and 15 cm less would be handy when searching for a parking space in Athens... hmmm

Well the Venga is basically the same car, but as you say with less equipment and the suspension has not been tuned for European roads, so the ride is harsher in the Kia.
