Hi guys,

Has anyone had success fixing the terrible mic quality in a GD03 headunit by adding an external microphone? A quick search only revealed getting it replaced by a dealer but I suspect I'm too late for that.

I've not had any issues with the mic on my GD-03, not heard the issue raised before either so it's not a common problem.

Okay, maybe it's not a common issue. There is a ton of background noise making phonecalls impossible. Sounds like you are underwater.

That link doesn't mention if the stereo is a GD-03 (Australian Cartronic Apple Carplay/Androind Auto unit) or a satnav unit
