However they always seem to be around when you don't want them there.

Finally some good luck.. Damage on Bruce would be all you need right now!

If the cops had seen that in Tassie he would have copped a fine!

Good idea reading out the rego rather than writing it down! I must remember that!

If that were to happen to me I would send the video to the police with a formal complaint.

I've got form if you remember.

Or will Aussie cops ignore it?

Dangling mascot aside, I don't see why the police wouldn't issue an infringement for insecure load.
It's date/time stamped and quite clear what happened.
Good ol' Roe Hwy.

I did Try to get out at the lights to let him know, but we no sooner pulled and the traffic started flowing again,I also attempted to get him to pull over,I doubt he even knew he had lost anything, not the point, the company who runs most of these truck(SITA) have a shocking record of their vehicles loosing parts of their Refuse loads, also their Hooked Bin truck's which slide the larger bins up their drivers have a bad habit of leaving the huge swinging hook arm in the outer position(totally Illegal act) the worst problem is the affor mentioned company puts so much pressure on Drivers to get X amount of Jobs done a day, the drivers although decent blokes Most of them, they take short cuts.

Even thought the damage was probably less then $400, small deep scratch lower left hand side of the front bumper, broken heavy acrylic number plate protector,to protect my acrylic personalized plates from being broken and a cracked Bonnet protector all of which I can easily fix, m point being why should I be a few hundred dollars out for repairs.

I have placed a police report, I have also contacted the company, which has not been to willing to talk to me, the point of the video is for my evidence, not to get the driver in trouble, but to hopefully get someone in authority to change this companies policies of holding drivers job security over their heads forcing them to take short cuts causing these road safety issues

Don't forget to put in a claim for damages to THEIR insurance company, with the video evidence. :fum:
