My other baby is a Kawasaki Z750S which I bought as new back in 2005. As being a genuine Japanese product, it has had almost zero technical problems. At first two years I had faulty rear brake light switch and warped front brake discs which I got replaced by warranty. Since then, practically nothing else than annual services and normal wear and tear like changing tyres, chain and sprockets, headlight bulbs etc. Two weeks ago I drove it to our local bike service for winter storage which they offer, and believe me there are hundreds of bikes sheltering over the harsh winter. The odometer has 53000 km now.
There she is in the middle of Finnish summer at its most beautiful time. In early June everything is so bright green, just add some yellow dandelions blossoming and blue sky, what else you could wish?
However, it's not always so nice. There the autumn rain got me good. I thought it would not rain in next few hours, but it just did. Although I have waterproof Gore-Tex clothing, still it's definitely not nice to ride in heavy rain.
