Diesel owners -- Have you had to change Glowplugs due to malfunction?

Yep.

Had 2 dead glowplugs at 154.000 km

Replaced all 4 of them.

I think it was NGK plugs I removed, so they must have been replaced before.

All 4 replaced at just 800 miles, two replaced at 24,200 miles, covered by warranty, first time around glow plugs upgraded to Bosch, something is causing the glow plugs to burn out early.

My first i30, 1.6 crdi, is now 5 years old and still original glowplugs.

mileage circa 24,000.
