They're quite intelligent bird, I use to have one when I was about 10 yrs old, had it from when it was young and it use to come and go, peck on the back door let it into the Kitchen and it would go over to the cupboard  under the sink and tap on that and thats where I kept broken biscuits for it then it would fly off, might not see it for a couple of days and it would turn up again. Use to follow me on my push bike.
cried my eyes out when I found it dead
