 It’s almost 60 years since the folks at Guinness World Records started collecting superlative feats of human strength, endurance, creativity, and engineering (and sometimes foolhardiness). And they’ve put as many as they can cram into that shiny hard-backed book of theirs.

The book itself was first published in 1955. Since then it’s sold over 132 million copies in 20 languages, in more than a 100 countries – making it the world’s best-selling copyrighted book.

The World Record guys are particularly proud of some of the new record holders they’ll be including in their 60th edition. Here’s a taster of what to expect inside.
