Honestly though I tried spam once when I was younger and it was the most revolting stuff I had ever tried so I didn't bother with the quiz as I'd know absolutely nothing about it other than it's foul taste and texture.

Geez you Blokes don't know when your on a good thing Spam is miles ahead of the old style Bully Beef and dog biscuits we used to get in our C rations.

Like many things these days if you knew exactly what went into some of the things you eat or drink you wouldn't have them,Hence the reason I have to be absolutely desperate and as a last resort I drink Orange Juice.

When we first started caravanning, 40 years ago, we went to Europe for a three week tour.  To avoid high food  prices abroad we took canned meat products with us including Spam.  Neither of us liking it much we avoided the Spam day by day until there was only Spam left for the final week.

Never eaten it since.

Never liked Spam at all, used to have luncheon meat instead years ago. Now I can't stand either.

There's a distinct unappetising quality in both luncheon meat and spam. I've smelt dogfood that seemed better.
