I have recently seen this done to a VFR1200F engine after it completed a torture test.
To have the entire car done... that must have been some test.

(so for the engine, gear box etc --- all bits and bobs needed to make the component)

Play the video in ultra slo mo and count them...(thousands is my guess)

The final picture looks very like the kind of thing you could see in the UK magazine "Auto-Express" for their Long term Wear editorial where they inspect every component including inner bodywork voids to see how well a car stands up to use, wear & tear. I appreciate the videao is Brazillian but there are sister magazines to Auto-Express, Auto Bild for example is the German version.
