It was a great trip actually and we had a great time at Thessaloniki, but i feel indebted to grouch a bit for a couple of things...

This is a part of the main (and only) highway which connects the capital (Athens) with the northern mainland and Thessaloniki, the second in population city of Greece.

i30's consumption was contained to 6,3 lt/100km with an avg. speed of 95 km/h.
The whole trip (2x 500 km) costed €107 for petrol and €46(!) for tolls to the total of 20(!!!) toll-stations along the road (1 toll station every 20-40mins of driving).

Video quality is poor, in video music is incidental and in video commentary is... useless

At 3'53": tabernacles in memorial of the tragedy that cut short the lives of 21 students, as an oncoming truck swerved out of control on the winding narrow road on Sunday 13-4-2003, spilling its load of particle board onto the side of the coach which carried the 49 teenagers, aged 15 to 16, who were returning from a three-day school trip...

At 4'51": a giant rock on a pedestal, reminds us the gliding on 18-12-2009 when a civil-engineer was killed by this rock, in his car...

Nothing wrong with those M8 (really enjoyed) Your scenery is a bit like some of our West Coast roads..

We have no (0) toll roads in Tasmania although you do have to pay to get into some of our national parks..(we haven't been to any for a while)

I had no idea how much it was  Just had a look (A$60 for a vehicle with up to 8 people for a period of 8 weeks unlimited access to all our National Parks)

Looked like you were going faster than the posted speed limits (80 Kph mostly  )

Dazz, it looks like i was going fast but in fact... i didn't. Probably is the 15 fps video causing scenery transitions looks faster
