Well as you all know, I picked up the new car, I really love it, I was amazed at the smoothness of the gears, never had a car that changed so easy before, felt like cutting butter.

I had a chance last night to test out the brakes, not that I wanted to. On our way to Burnie for tea we come across an accident, the traffic came to a sudden stop in front of me. The cw pulled up very straight, brakes felt good.

Love the colour, and think the new wheels sets the car off really well. Even the guy at Bob Janes was genuinely impressed with how much the wheels suited the car  :D (I will get Dazz to post some photos)

I also like the directness of the steering .. she goes where she is pointed.

I find the seats a bit firm (I don't have as much padding as Dazz  :winker:) Some seat covers will help!

Family and friends all seem to like the car as well  :goodjob:

A big thanks to James the Hyundai and Nissan Salesman at Motors in Devonport..

BestSalesman we have dealt with in a long time.. Even organised a full tank of fuel without being asked. :goodjob:

He wen't out of his way to track down a colour that Trish would like and had it transported 300+ kilometres in a few working days (nicely detailed too!)

As Trish has said, the gearchange is perfect (much better than my hatch when it was new)

You need to work the gears a bit more in the petrol model but a pleasure with this box. Done over 200kms on a bit over a quarter of a tank (Trish had probably done 60% of those)

The emergency stop last night wasn't tyre screeching fortunately which would not have been good for the new tyres or the new brakes.. just good firm pressure and a quick pull up..

The finish seems really good too and the paint finish around the hatch is a bit thicker and shinier than I remember in mine...

and... I am pleasantly surprised at the tyre noise we both think the CW is no noiser than the Tiida which was quieter than on my Hatch.. So all positive so far.

The 5 year roadside assist is impressive too  :brilliant:

Nice one, I guess another couple of Tassie sheep are sh1tting themselves at the prospect of becoming a pair of seatcovers but hey-ho

Now Dazz, we can conclude the seatcover debate, the "gay" sheepskin covers from your car will no longer be gay since they are going into Trish's car! :goodjob: :goodjob:
