Title: Handbrake won't click or stay up after rear brake service
Post by: CJ1980 on February 27, 2021, 16:43:17
Hi guys just took my rear pads of as they were sticking a bit so I gave them on both sides a bit of a clean up and re lube. Now after I freed them up and put the wheels back on ive found that the hand break button won't come out and it won't ratchet up, I've taken it for a drive and the brakes work fine and the hand brake will work. Really weird as I didn't mess with the hand brakes at all?

Looks similar to handbrake problem reported here:  :link: Handbrake button is pushed all the way in and will not release when lifted up (https://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=59877.msg508119#msg508119)
