I took my car to a workshop that I had faith in until I checked the oil level after they did the 15000km service. ie. oil change.

I drove 35km to home and checked the oil level. I had to drain nearly a litre of excess oil out of the crankcase as they had overfilled it!!

That was bad enough but after ringing  and explaining the situation to the owner he told me that he told his mechanic to "make sure that the oil level ïs right before it goes out". He told me that he would talk to his mechanic but he never did get back to me. I would have liked an apology and an assurance that this would never happen again. Really bad PR as far as I am concerned.

Ï won't go back there as I feel that I wasn't treated seriously and their quality control was non-existent.

Can anyone recommend a great mechanic in the Central Coast area ie. around Gosford NSW that I could try?
